Apology in advance
I’m about to upgrade my blogging software, so please ignore any insanely strange things that happen in the next 24 hours.
In the meantime, watch the hilarious reactions to the announcement of IE7 on the day when Firefox saw 25 million downloads.

FireFox saw 25million downloads yesterday, that’s absolutey amazing! Does the total normally run at that sort of amount, I thought there were only ~750 million desktop browsers installed in the world, to see 3% of these replaced with firefox every single day is absolutely stunning news - why is this not bigger news?
Or was the actual news that the total number of firefox downloads throughout its history reached 25million, a considerably less relevant piece of news.

Hey! A reader who *isn’t* a spam-bot!
Yes, of course, for those less gifted readers your comment is incisive and correct. Smart aleck.
Mind you, 25 million downloads in 100 days is still brag-worthy. For the record, 83% of my readers use Mozilla Firefox (once the spam-bots are filtered out, anyway).
